Coming Soon to the Moore!

I know who these guys are, but I've never actually heard anything by them. They play roots stuff that apparently goes well on Prairie Home Companion, a show I don't listen to. Why? Because after tuning in for about five minutes, I feel like hanging myself. I don't know whether it's all that yodeling or Garrison Keillor, but that show really disturbs me. But that doesn't mean that Old Crow Medicine Show sucks. Not at all. I haven't ever heard anything by them, so I can't say. I can tell you their deep-dark secret, though: despite their roots/folk bona fides, they actually formed up in New York City. So those cowboy hats and handlebar mustaches are all, y'know, lies. What will we tell the children?

Old Crow actually formed as a group in the Ithaca, New York area. And where in the world did you see a handlebar mustache among them?

Banjo player - but those were connected mutton chops. A look for sure. There was also the guy in the "Wagon Wheel" video, but he's not in the band. My mistakes.
