After Hours

Françoise Hardy. Je t'aime

It's the lovely Miss H - and she's moving around! Usually, she just stands still and sings, so it's quite uncommon to see her in motion. Here she is in London in 1965, singing in front of large ads. Although she wrote many of her own songs, this is not one of them. No, the music for this one was penned by none other than Mick Jones who later became an integral component of Foreigner. I think he was the foreigner in question. Anyhow, this is a nice song. It's no smash hit, but it's pleasant enough. And it's nice to see Françoise poking gentle fun at commerce.
