McGuire Scaffold-Watch! Week: ???? + 10
Yes, it's still there, along with that attractive blue plastic netting. Last week, I thought the spread of the scaffolding had halted, but what did I know? It continues its remorseless encircling of the building. Observe:
Yes, the parking garage, too. This is on Vine Street between 2nd & 3rd. It's just incredible. I mean, the price of scaffold rental alone must be thousands of dollars a day. It's a big building whose entire outer surface is almost completely encased. Not only that, but there's the dwarf army that's working on the exterior. Although they're dwarfs, they still need to get paid. And that attractive blue plastic netting ain't free, either. What we're seeing is a lot of money being spent on something that should have been done right the first time, but wasn't for reasons unknown. Maybe it's best that things turned out like this, because otherwise, how would people learn what complete negligence was?
