When I saw this, I thought, "Those guys are still together?" Evidently, they've been a band pretty much continuously since 1983. And they're Canadian, which doesn't have much to do with anything, but it's a fact that you can use in everyday conversation. Funny thing, you'd expect a group called the Tragically Hip to be a little, y'know, tragically hip, but these guys just all look really old, which is just a tiny bit tragic and not at all hip. Over the years, they've won their share of Juno Awards, which is the Canadian equivalent of the Grammy. I'm told that winning one is harder than showing up for the ceremony and being Canadian. You have to be good; not American-good, but good for the land of Shatner. Anyhow, I'm thinking that even though this involves rock and/or roll, it should be a low-key affair.
