A while ago - I'm not sure when it was - I stood at the corner of
4th & Vine and thought of the future. The skies were grim and the trees were bare, but I knew that in the future, this might not be so. I thought it would be interesting to compare the "before and after" shots just for yucks. Here's what it looked like that gray and discouraging day:
But now that the birds are going, "Tweet!" and so on, that block has leafed up big time:
Yeah, that's the same block. Hand to God, yo. You know, the trees run interference for a whole lot of ugliness around here, but don't worry, there's still much more unsightliness that isn't obscured by trees.
