I'm just back from Denny Park where there are tons more camped-out bums than squirrels. Seriously, they're all over the place. But this little fellow was out exploring, so I gave him a peanut. It's rather strange how many of the park's squirrels are definitely more brown than gray these days. I don't know what that's supposed to mean; like looking around and seeing reclining bums every few yards, it's just a general observation.

In my daily walk through Freeway Park I'm not seeing many bums, probably thanks to the bicycle security guard. Also, I haven't seen a squirrel in a long time. Did they all go to Denny Park?
I think they might be taking squirrel vacations and will return shortly with tans.
Bingo!! Caught site of 2 in Freeway Park this morning. What a joy! But they were running scared and wouldn't nose up to anyone like they used to do. Maybe someone has been chasing them or something.
